Faith Temple Church is located at 1605 N. Terrell at Jax, in an integrated neighborhood to make known the Love of God to all men.  It is known for its Spirit, its progressiveness and growth in spirituality, and active programs. 

We carry a slogan, “A friendly church that’s different, with a ministry of deliverance”. 

Participated in by everybody, monopolized by nobody, where everyone is SOMEBODY.

Rev. W. C. Kenan organized Faith Temple COGIC in Midland, Texas at the Carver School Auditorium in May of 1973.  We later moved to a small church building, which we soon out grew.  Within six months the building was filled to its capacity.  It grew so much that God performed a miracle, which astounded the doubtful, encouraged the discouraged, and rewarded the faithful. In October of  the same year, after much fasting and praying, the Lord opened the door for our present place of worship, where the spirit of the Lord is in control.  The Lord is blessing and adding to the church daily, such as should be saved.

Our hearts desire is that men be saved, saints revived and the backsliders reclaimed.  (Go to How to be Saved for more information)

The vision is yet unfolding itself before our eyes, and we believe God for bigger and better things.  Even as we praise God for what He has already done, we realize, as it is written, “Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him.”
